Airhart plots move into public service from work in Waukee

In his bid for Dallas County Recorder, Chad Airhart hopes to win the office for Republicans that has been under Democratic control for more than a generation.Airhart is running against long time Recorder Carol ‘Cindy’ Hol who started in the job in 1988.“I decided I wanted to work with the public to advance the causes that I am passionate about, or to try to make a difference,” Airhart said. “That’s what got me out of the business world and into the public arena.”For the last three and a half years Airhart has worked as Executive Director of the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce.“It was a tough decision for me to make because I really do love my job with the Waukee Chamber,” Airhart said.Read entire story here: http://amestrib.com/articles/2010/10/28/adel_news/news/record_news/doc4cc990e917220329839122.txt
